Enter the number of payments you expect to pay to amortize the loan in the "Number of payments" box.

Select the loan payment frequency with the pull down list.

Enter the amount of payment you can make. Be realistic. Payments are always harder to make than you expect them to be.

Enter the rate of interest you expect to be required to pay in the Interest rate box.

Click on the Calculate button to calculate the loan amount. It will appear in the box titled "Principal amount." This is the amount you can borrow and repay under the terms you specifiec.
