Typical Question:
What do I need to ask before I buy loan accounting
software?
|
Answer:
Before
I Buy Loan Accounting Software.
What
is a loan accounting software system?
Will it run on my computer?
What do I need to know to operate it?
What are its major features?
How do I get my data into it?
If I don't like it, can I get a refund?
Will it run on my computer?
All our loan accounting and loan tracking products
are designed specifically for computers running
Microsoft Windows. It is believed to be 100%
compatible with any version of windows from Windows95
forward. We no longer develop or test on Windows
95, 98, or ME. All development and testing are on
Windows 2000 and XP.
Memory and disk space are not a problem. Any modern
computer will have adequate memory and disk space.
The display should have a resolution of at least
800x600 or greater.
What do I need to know to use it?
To successfully install and operate one of our loan
accounting or loan tracking systems, certain skills
are required. These are skills we cannot teach over
the telephone. You must have them before you start.
All instructions and support documents assume you have
them.

locate or open files.

another.

Loan Accounting Skills
You need to understand interest calculation and
accrual. You should be able to calculate late
charges and payoffs. The system does these
calculations for you but if you don't have the
skills to do it yourself, you will not fully
understand how to use the results.
Loan Tracking Skills
You should understand what documents
are needed to originate a loan. You should
understand what to do when a loan becomes
delinquent. You should understand the process of
keeping up with past due status and late charges. If
your loans are collateralized with real estate, you
should understand about real estate taxes and
insurance.
Loan Servicing Skills
You should understand the process of calculating
the daily status of a loan whether it is prepaid or
past due. If you can calculate an amortization
schedule by hand, you are in good shape here.
How Do I Get My Data Into It?
In many cases, we can import most of your data for
you.
See Loan
Data Import for more details.
If your data is not available in a form we can
import, you must enter it manually from the keyboard.
If I don't like it, can I get a refund?
The primary goal of our company is "No
Unsatisfied Customers". To this end, we provide
you with an evaluation system that is completely
functional. It has no limitations in functionality. It
is limited only in time. We make no demands and apply
no pressure to buy, you can evaluate the product as
long as you like. Two to three months is not uncommon
and occasionally it takes people a year to make up
their mind.
We ask that you be absolutely sure it does what you
need before you buy it.
the purchase price is NOT refundable.
