Make
a complete backup of your live system!
Then...
Log on to the website,
www.loansoftware.com
Select "Custom Downloads"
You will see two links:
Custom Loan
System "A"
Custom Loan System "B'
Click on and download the
system you have been instructed to download. These
systems unique to an individual lender and password
protected. You will only be able to open the
system you were instructed to download. Be sure to save
the down loaded file to your desktop or to another
location you know how to find.
The download file for system
"A" is called custom_a.exe. The download file
for system "B" is called custom_b.exe
Find the icon custom_a.exe or
custom_b.exe on your desktop and double click on it. (
If your computer is set up to do so or if you are using
Windows XP, this may be a single click instead of a
double click.) If you can't find the downloaded file,
open the "START" menu and select the
"Find" option. It can find anything on the
machine.

The custom systems are
downloaded as self extracting zip files. The following
instructions assume the system is installed on your C:
drive in the \lm2000 folder. If you installed it
somewhere else, you will have no trouble adjusting these
instructions.
Double click the icon
custom_a.exe (or custom_b.exe)
The unzip program will open and
suggest unzipping to C:\lm2000
Change the path if you need to.
Click on "Finish" to
unzip the complete system.
Your custom system will be
password protected. You will receive the password when
you are notified your system is ready. The password
screen will list a file name. the file name is
unpredictable. It will be the first file found when the
zip file was created. enter the password and click
"OK". You will be asked to overwrite, answer
"YES". This will replace 100% of your existing
system. Be sure you have a backup before you click
"OK".
If you don't get a completion
message, the unzip process was not successful and the
condition of your system is unknown. Attempt the unzip
again. If it fails again, restore your backup and
contact technical support.
After it is unzipped to
C:\lm2000, The Icon or start menu item from the demo
system will start it.
When you enter your key codes, the log in box will come
up blank so don't forget the default user id is
demosuper and the default password is demosuper ( both
the same )

BE SURE YOU KEEP custom_a.exe as a backup in case you
need to start over.
If you create a test or play system, BE SURE it is on a
different computer and not accessable from your
computer. If you have two systems available on your
computer, sooner or later you will get them confused and
post live data to the wrong system or worse yet, delete
the good system.
